The CM offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and described Prof Sanu’s death as a great loss to Kerala’s cultural and literary landscape.

In a statement, CM Vijayan said Prof Sanu was a towering intellectual who made significant contributions to Malayalam literature, education, and social reform. His scholarly works and literary criticism had left a lasting impact on generations of readers and writers in Kerala.
