Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan made an emotional return to Bhuj after 25 years, rekindling memories of his iconic film Lagaan. The actor was in town to attend a special screening of his upcoming movie ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’, much to the delight of his fans and local residents.

Aamir Khan, who shot major portions of Lagaan in the historic city of Bhuj, expressed deep nostalgia upon revisiting the place that played a pivotal role in his cinematic journey. “Returning to Bhuj after 25 years has refreshed all the memories of Lagaan. It feels like coming home,” said the actor, addressing the media during the event.

The screening of Sitaare Zameen Par was held with much fanfare and was attended by cast members, fans, and local dignitaries. Aamir interacted warmly with the audience and shared insights about the film, which is being seen as a spiritual follow-up to his 2007 critically acclaimed movie Taare Zameen Par.

The actor’s visit was met with enthusiastic crowds, with many fans reminiscing about Lagaan, which remains one of India’s most celebrated films and was even nominated for an Academy Award.
